The
hourly Bill Rate for temporary or temp-to-hire employees is the sum of
the Employee's Pay Rate plus the Markup. The Employee's Pay Rate is
dependent upon several factors including the skill required of the
employee, difficulty and desirability of the work, job location and
supply and demand.
The Markup is a percentage of the Employee's Pay Rate. It includes
FICA, unemployment insurance, workers compensation and liability
insurance, administrative overhead and profit. The Markup varies
according to the workers compensation rate for each position. For
example, the Markup for a clerical position is normally 40% (i.e.: The
Bill Rate for an $8.00 per hour Pay Rate is $11.20) and for a skilled
construction trade or labor position is 50% to 55%. Obviously the
Workers Compensation rate is higher on high accident-prone positions.
We are locally owned and operated which translates to high efficiency
and low overhead. As a result, our prices are very competitive.
